Strawberry Matcha Overnight Oats

Delicious strawberry matcha overnight oats that will give you your morning caffeine boost, plus nutritious whole grains!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup boiling water
  • 1 tsp matcha powder
  • 1/3 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tsp raw sugar or sugar substitute
  • 1/4 cup freeze dried strawberries chopped, divided
  • 1/2 cup almond milk or favorite milk

Equipment

  • drink immersion blender or matcha whisk

Method
 

  1. In an overnight oats container, add boiling water. Then, whisk in matcha powder with a drink immersion blender or matcha whisk.
  2. Add oats and sugar.
  3. Top with half of the strawberries, and slowly pour milk over top, pushing down any pieces not in the milk. Save the rest of the strawberries to top in the morning for a crunch.
  4. Cover and store in the fridge overnight.
  5. In the morning, heat oats in the microwave for 1 minute or until warm. Add the rest of the chopped strawberries.
  6. Gently stir, and enjoy!
