High Protein Turkey Meatballs

Fool proof meatballs that use heart-healthy ground turkey instead of beef. Filling and tasty! These have never let me down.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 Tbsp minced garlic paste
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix all of the meatball ingredients together until uniform. Roll the meatballs into 1" meatballs. Place them on parchment paper on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake for 20 minutes. If you made larger meatballs, flip the meatballs over, and bake for 3-5 more minutes or until cooked through.
